Employment Law
Employment law regulates the legal relations between employers and employees as well as their collectives (trade unions, works councils, staff councils) and their negotiating partners on the employer’s side. A distinction is usually made between individual and collective employment law. Of particular importance in individual employment law is, among other things, the law on protection against dismissal. At the core of collective employment law are works constitution law and collective bargaining law, including the right to strike.
